Intuitive Eating
Intuitive Eating is a weight-inclusive, evidence-based model with a validated assessment scale with over 150 studies and counting. Intuitive Eating is a non-diet framework that works to heal your relationship with food and body by cultivating trust and awareness within your body. The goal behind Intuitive Eating is to stop yo-yo dieting and normalize your relationship with food. During our coaching sessions we will review each of the IE principles and work on incorporating them into your life.
You will benefit from Intuitive Eating coaching if you:
Are tired of obsessing over food
Are ready to ditch the diets and guilt around food
Are interested in Intuitive Eating but looking for more guidance and accountability as you work through the 10 Principles
Feel overwhelmed and lost about what is right for you and your body
Struggle with a restrict, diet, binge cycle
You will learn to:
Make peace with food and your body
Figure out how to function without overeating / emotional eating /binge eating
Remove the guilt and shame around food
Get back to enjoying foods you really love (Or figure out what foods those are!)
Start taking care of yourself and your body as it is now
Clear out more mental and physical space for things other than food and body worries such as hobbies, fun, relationships, etc.
Move your body for enjoyment rather than punishment or to “earn” food
